Steven R. Fontes, MAI, CCIM is the founder of Mission Property Advisors, Inc., a commercial real estate service firm specializing in commercial real estate appraisal and commercial real estate brokerage.
The firm specializes in the appraisal of commercial real estate throughout the Inland Empire and greater Southern California region and the brokerage of commercial real estate throughout Southern California. Mr. Fontes also routinely represents clients seeking to purchase investment real estate outside of California.
Our clients include attorneys, lending institutions, investors, trusts and fiduciaries, school districts, CPA's, private parties and a number of cities, counties and State agencies. As a 35+ year veteran of the real estate industry, Mr. Fontes has qualified to testify as a commercial appraisal expert witness in several Southern California county Superior Court venues as well as in the Federal venue of the United Stated Bankruptcy Court both inside and outside of California.
In 2009, Mr. Fontes was honored to serve as the 77th President of the Southern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He is a graduate of the University of California, Riverside (UCR), having earned a degree in Computer Science, Class of 1987.
Mr. Fontes is a frequent public speaker on topics related to commercial real estate. He has served in the past on the UCR Planned Giving Advisory Board (3 years) as well as on the board for the Dikaios Christian Educators Association (8 years). He served for many years on the Economic Development Council for the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce and is a graduate of the Leadership Riverside program, Class of 2012.
When not working he enjoys kayaking and snow skiing. Steven is very happily married to his lovely wife Christine. They have four children, two of which are still at home.
